Dethkomic: AKA The Dethklok Doujinshi

I would like to take a minute to give you a brief introduction to my personal mania, and a history of how I acquired a lifetime mortal enemy -- Mr. Brendon Small.

A couple of years ago, I was sitting around drinking copious amounts of Yuengling with my musically-inclined friends, when one of them presented a DVD collection of the entire first season of a show I'd only caught glimpses of while up all night doing acid and ether. That show was Metalocalypse, and even through my drug-induced hallucinations, I'd thought the show pretty funny -- but being merely drunk at the time, and flanked by two guitarists while watching each episode in sequence made all the difference. Thus, my passion for Dethklok began.

A couple years go by, and I not only realize that basically everyone around me also loves this stupid show, but there are tons of people I've met only through the internet, my travels to conventions and the like, who do as well. Fast forward again, and through the magic of obsessive fangirlishness and persuasion from friends (even though I knew better) and I get a wild hair to do a fancomic...

As is always the case, the things I do for fun that make no money, become the things I get the most recognition for... and honestly, that's become rather flattering to me. Unfortunately, I still make no money off of them, and the potential for such things to go viral and spoil the fun had by people doing the actual show scares the crap out of me... So Dethkomic is simultaneously something I'm proud to have in my comic portfolio as well as my dirty little secret.

Back to Brendon... I've heard he's seen it. I've heard, like all fanart, he's cool with it. I doubt he'd recognize me should I be crossing Sepulveda in LA one night, and he had a primo shot at running me over.

Still...

Warnings for violence, profanity, sexual themes, and more than a few things they wouldn't get away with on Cartoon Network, I'm sure...
This story is in progress.

Dethkomic, being fanart, is something I'd like to keep low-key so as not to interfere with the actual show and its more official upcoming comic series by Darkhorse. Therefore, if you'd like to read it, shoot me an email. I'll give you instructions on how you may do so...
